Passion for DIY I've had since childhood. The first experience I had with the wood at about 9-10 years when they want to emulate my heroes (the ninja turtles!) I have built all their weapons. As a result, can not remember the period, I attended a course organized by the carpenter recreation center in my country, with which I began to learn a bit 'of the basic tools for working wood gouges, rasps, saws, etc.. During this course we have built miniature chairs with lots of carvings that I have not the faintest idea of \u200b\u200bwhat happened to. However after I did give some of my instruments, including the tunnel by hand, I started to achieve the objects offset by 5 mm. The first was a copy of a shelf with floral carvings, which I shamelessly traced from one that had my grandmother.
Then I had a compass, a watch and other little things made from plywood using only the tunnel.
Since the end of primary school up to university first year there was a period of total darkness for DIY. To bring back the "green wood" were the composition and architecture of different tests that required the construction of models and that made me dust off the old tunnel, saws, chisels and other lying in the attic for eight years.
The demand for plastic per semester allowed me to specialize in both the physical implementation but also in the design of the models. This is a very important aspect, to achieve anything because now I need to design it first.
Another important aspect is that now I feel the need to build something designed by me at time intervals that are always falling. A sort of dependence on DIY. Hence the title of the blog "MOMENTS OF WOOD", ie those moments / periods in which I need to create something of my own, something that gratifies me to work.
With this blog I will present these creations and ideas to try and sort out where I port this "addiction" that now has become a vital part of my life.
