TEA TIME OBSESSION

Four years in rainy England, I used to have many customs British of which I can not do without. Luckily I'm not talking about the carpet in the kitchen or pasta and beans on toast: I'm talking about the classic - and far less disgusting - teatime.

I fell in love with its modular library of primary colors, natural wood details, and black lacquer. Masterpieces of modernism, I do not know what I would pay to have at least one home!

Among my many and odd obsessions is that of the markets. from Borough Market in London the Ferry Building Farmer's Market of San Francisco, I try not to miss the most important markets of the cities I visit.

One of the next scheduled destination is Istanbul, and just yesterday I found on Dezeen pictures of this incredible fish market in the district of Besiktas:

Sometimes I lay for hours, fascinated by the maps in satellite mode on Google Maps . In particular, I love to snoop (where possible) in the gardens of Beverly Hills, 90210, or look at the houses overlooking the ocean in the Hamptons.

Occasionally, however, understood in an unexpected place, than ever I was going to try but that turns out to be much more fascinating than expected. And I lose myself for hours.

It 's the case of Winnipeg, Canada (Manitoba for the picky), a stone's throw from North Dakota:
